Martyrs' families were visited on the eve of Victory Day

On the eve of 8^th November Victory Day, the employees of Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency "Azersu" OJSC and the Republican Committee of Azerbaijan Water Management Employee’s Trade Union visited the families of those who died in the battles for the freedom of our lands.

During the meeting with the martyrs’ family members, it was noted that the brave Azerbaijani Army defeated the hated enemy and freed our lands that had been occupied for many years under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev’s leadership as a result of 44 days of military operations. As a result of the successful anti-terror operation carried out in September of this year, the sovereignty of our country has been fully restored.

Our Army demonstrated its power and strength to the whole world under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Our nation is proud of the young people who heroically died and were wounded, honorably fulfilling their duty to the motherland. In the meetings, they talked about the attention and care that President Ilham Aliyev shows to the martyrs’ families and the importance of the state policy implemented in this direction.

It should be noted that during the Patriotic War, 3 employees of "Azersu" JSC rose to the peak of martyrdom, and 20 employees were injured. At the same time, family members of 25 employees recruited in the Joint-Stock Company were martyred, and family members of 45 people were injured.
