The number of subscribers of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency “Azersu” OJSC increased by 4,5 percent

The number of subscribers of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency “Azersu” OJSC increased by 4,5 percent in the last 1 year, but since the beginning of the year by 3, 4 per cent.

 As of September 1, 2022, the number of subscribers for the drinking water supply and sewerage services of the Society was registered 1,808538. 1736490, i.e. 96% of subscribers are population group, 72048, 4% are non-population group subscribers.

The increase in the number of subscribers during the year was mainly due to the connection of consumers to the centralized drinking and waste water networks, the registration of owners of newly built individual houses as subscribers, as well as the detection of illegal use of drinking water and sewerage services.

As of September 1, 2023, 89,3% of “Azersu” OJSC subscribers were provided with meters. Currently, the level of metering for population-group subscribers is 89,1 percent, and for non-population- group customers - 95.5 percent.
