A model facility civil defense exercise dedicated to the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" was held by the Regional Sukanal Office No. 6

   According to the Decree signed by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev about the declaration of 2023 as the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" in our country, dated September 29, 2022, a series of jubilee events are ongoing at the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency "Azersu" OJSC. A training dedicated to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s 100th Jubilee was held with the participation of the civil defense forces of the Regional Sukanal Office No. 6 of "Azersu" OJSC in the complex of water intake facilities of the Oguz Sukanal Area under the motto "Preventing an incident is better than eliminating its consequences after it has occurred". Civil defense chiefs of the Department, commander-in-chief staffs, a total of 60 personnel of civil defense units, and 5 different purpose vehicles were involved in the training. In particular, a group of employees of TABIB and transport equipment were involved in the training in order to ensure mutual activity in eliminating the consequences of emergency situations.

The participants of the event laid flowers in front of the monument to the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the administrative building of the Regional Sukanal Office No. 6, and commemorated the National Leader’s dear memory with deep respect. Within the process of civil defense training, the civil defense forces perform tasks related to the protection of the area where an emergency has occurred, restricting access to the area, extinguishing the fire, rescuing the poisoned people, search and rescue, providing first aid to the victims, and evacuating workers to safe areas.

At the end, the results of the exercise were analyzed, and relevant recommendations were given to the commander-in-chief and personnel of the civil defense units.
