Employee of “Baghlar Sukanal” Office of “Azersu” OJSC faced physical pressure of subscriber

“Azersu” OJSC is taking necessary measures to increase the level of payment for drinking water and wastewater services and solve the problem of receivables. “Azersu” “Baghlar Sukanal” Office’s employee faced physical pressure from a subscriber while on duty.

Thus, the subscriber living in the 45th apartment of the house belonging to "Saray-H", located in the service area of "Baglar Sukanal" Office, was repeatedly warned to pay the debt of 679.93 manat for the use of drinking water and sewerage services, but the subscriber refused to pay. In accordance with the requirements of the "Rules of Water Use", an order was issued on February 7, 2022 and the water supply to the apartment was suspended. Despite this, the citizen arbitrarily connected the water line to the network.

On February 8, 2022, Isazadeh Allahshukur Hasrat oglu, “Baghlar Sukanal” Offices employee, approached that address and explained to the subscriber the importance of paying the debt. However, the subscriber was aggressive with the employee of “Azersu” OJSC and physically pressured him. The subscriber punched and injured an employee of “Azersu” OJSC.

The incident was recorded by the employees of the “Baghlar Sukanal” Office, Isazadeh underwent a medical examination and appealed to the Absheron District Police Office to investigate the fact.

“Azersu” OJSC informs citizens and subscribers that the level of service provided depends on timely payments. For this purpose, any insults and pressure against employees performing their duties are unacceptable, and if such cases occur, “Azersu” OJSC will apply to law enforcement agencies.

The subscribers are informed that partial payment of receivables are also available. To do this, the subscriber must apply to the local water supply department or branch, sign a protocol of agreement and pay the debt in installments on a monthly basis in accordance with the commitment.
