New vehicles have been purchased to use in the liberated areas

In accordance with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev’s instructions, “Azersu” OJSC continues to take measures to improve the quality of service and increase efficiency in the liberated territories, as well as in settlements with drinking water scarcity. To facilitate the operation in the liberated areas and improve the working conditions of workers, new vehicles were purchased and sent to service areas.

As part of urgent measures taken to improve the supply of drinking water in the liberated areas, about 350 facilities have been provided with drinking water. Water supply to areas far from water sources and where there is no infrastructure is provided by special water trucks. For this purpose, vehicles of “Azersu” OJSC were involved in the area. The ever-expanding service area and growing demand for drinking water, as well as expanding the scope of existing facilities, became a need to purchase new vehicles. 6 pick-up cars, 4 water trucks with a capacity of 18 tons, 3 excavators and 1 UAZ vehicle were purchased for the service areas operating in the liberated territories.

These vehicles are intended for service use in the liberated Shusha, Agdam, Kalbajar, Lachin, Gubadli, Zangilan regions and Hadrut settlement.

In addition, additional vehicles were purchased to deliver water to water-scarce settlements during the summer months. Eight new 18-ton water trucks in the park of the Department of Transport and Special Equipment have been sent to the regions.
