Sheets of paper of 768kg were submitted in the frame of the project “Let’s change every sheet of paper for a tree leaf”.

   “Azersu” OJSC takes active parts in the events on ensuring environmental protection and sustainability, and organizing enlightening activities in this field. With this “Azersu” OJSC joined the project “Let’s change every sheet of paper for a tree leaf” together with International Dialogue for Environmental Action (IDEA), ASAN Khidmet and Temiz Sheher OJS. Stock Company made the next contribution to the action. On March 14 used sheets of paper of 768kg were submitted to the ASAN Khidmet center.

   Note that on February 17, 2014 “Azersu” OJSC submitted used sheets of paper of 350kg to the points installed in front of ASAN Khidmet centers.

  The project designed by International Dialogue for Environmental Action is an international campaign led by Leyla Aliyeva is carried out under the motto “10 messages to protect the environment”. The goal of this project is to get all layers of society involved in solution of environmental problems, to raise people awareness of environmental issues more efficiently through real ecological projects and ensure correct management of waste, to minimize damage to the environment.

   As part of the project, state-run agencies, private organizations and ordinary citizens submit used sheets of paper to the points installed in front of ASAN Khidmet centers. The sheets of recycled paper are registered and stored in large containers. Every 50 kg of recycled paper will equal to a tree. The trees will be planted in Baku by involving staff of the state-run agencies that recycled the paper.
