"Infrastructure renewal and quality" training program has been started

“Azersu” OJSC continues to carry out measures on strengthening Capacity Building and increasing the level of professionalism of staff. As part of cooperation with Gedik University of Turkey and UGETAM Company on March 11 "Infrastructure renewal and quality" training program has been started. With this purpose the delegation, composed of experts of educational and industry enterprises of Turkey has come Azerbaijan.

Participating at the opening of the training program chairman of “Azersu” OJSC Gorkhmaz Huseynov said that the projects are successfully continued. Informing the guests about the reconstruction projects of water supply and sewerage systems in the country chairman noted that “Azersu” OJSC uses the latest technology and experience of highly qualified specialists for implementation of the projects. In this field “Azersu” OJSC cooperates with the companies of Turkey. During 2 years 75 training sessions have been organized aiming to upgrade qualification, skills and expertise of the staff. About 1600 employees of “Azersu” OJSC were involved in these trainings. 240 specialists participated in the trainings organized in Istanbul Water and Sewage Administration (ISKI) and Turkish Water Institute. 12 executives had the opportunity to become familiar with the production areas of Izmit Sukanal Office. At the trainings the specialists of “Azersu” OJSC got acquainted with industry fields, mechanics, energetic, automation, operation of drinking water and sewerage treatment facilities, customer services, information and communication technology, construction field and etc.

The head of Gedik Holding Company Mustafa Kochak, advisor of Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Meral Barlas, lecturer of Gedik university Erkan Gezer, The chairman of the Board of Directors of UGETAM Umit Dogay Arinch also participated at the ceremony. They noted that they are also interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan.

At the trainings that will continued 4 days the specialists will be informed about welding technologies, treatment and transmission of drinking water, disposal of wastewater, water metering and etc.
