“Azersu” OJSC celebrated 8 March – International Women’s Day

    A ceremony was held on the occasion of 8 March – International Women’s Day in “Azersu” OJSC. Congratulating the women employees of “Azersu” OJSC the first Deputy of Chairman of “Azersu” OJSC Teyyub Jabbarov stated that 8 March International Women’s Day is celebrated in every country. Recalling the great services of women in immortalizing national-mental values for centuries T. Jabbarov emphasized that Azerbaijan’s woman takes special part in socio-political and scientific-cultural life of modern Azerbaijan: “National leader Heydar Aliyev did great works on enhancing the role of women in society and kept attention to the issue of increasing the role of women in society. Dear President Ilham Aliyev remaining faithful to these traditions also pays special attention to enhancing the role of women’s role in society. Wide measures have been carried out in the direction of gender policy and government support for families and children under his leadership. The President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Deputy of Milli Majlis, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO Mehriban Aliyeva has great services in solving problems of Azerbaijan’s women and family, in the fields of nurture and education and protection of children.”

   Teyyub Jabbarov touched the great role of women in achievements of water sector. Adequately performing their duty and taking active part in society was highly appreciated.

    At last “Azersu” OJSC presented holiday gifts to women employees.

    Note that 2417 out of 12107 workers of “Azersu” OJSC are women.
