Scientific researches on the use of new technology have been discussed in ANAS

    “Azersu” OJSC pays special attention to the development and application of new technologies and scientific innovations in water supply and sanitation sector. Scientists and specialists of Stock Company regularly participate at international conferences and symposiums.

   On January 29 the lead engineer of Department of Science and Technology, PhD Elchin Gurbanov’s project “New technological methods for disinfection of drinking water and wastewater” was discussed in Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

   Speaking about his presentation Elchin Gurbanov informed the participants that the method of high voltage micro-and nanosecond impulses presented for disinfection of water is innovation in the filed of science. Compared with traditional disinfection methods the new technology has the potential to be environmentally and economically efficient.

   Note that the scientific researches will be carried out in laboratory “Physics and technique of high-voltages” in Institute of Physics of ANAS and in the Central Laboratory of “Azersu” OJSC under cooperation of “Azersu” OJSC and ANAS.
