Azersu OJSC continues Action plans in order to improve water supply and sewerage services rendered to customers. Following “State Program on Socioeconomic Development in the Regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2009-2013” major projects are carried out in the villages and settlements suffering from shortage of drinking water.

Works on improvement of water supply systems in Pirallahi district have been accelerated. For developing management system, and services rendered customers Pirallahi Sukanal Office was created. Presently urgent measures and strategic projects are carried out in the district for improving water supply and sewerage services.

Note that Pirallahi’s residents get drinking water by water trucks. Until recently people were paying for drinking water. Presently Azersu OJSC supplies the residents, as well as the education and health institutions by its own water trucks with free water.

Centralized water supply system was created in Pirallahi last century. The settlement is supplied with technical water from the artesian wells drilled near Zira. If the water was provided to the settlement only one day a week before, now as result of works done the people are supplied with water on daily schedule.

Once new infrastructure is finished the water problem of the settlement will be completely solved. In accordance with the project water line of 72km, sewerage line of 60km, and stormwater line of 4km will be constructed. At the same time water supply of the multistorey apartments in the settlement is reconstructed.

After construction of Jeyranbatan-Balakhani-Raman-Gala-Zira-Pirallahi the residents of Pirallahi settlement will be supplied on a continuing basis with drinking water. The project is planned to be completed in 2014.

Note that drinking water is provided to Chilov and Neft Dashlari settlements by ships.
