The delegation of Azersu OJSC participated at Budapest Water Summit

   Budapest Water Summit held in Hungary on October 8-11, 2013 was remarkable for Azersu OJSC in term of future cooperation and perspective development. 

   Azersu OJSC took part at the exhibition on management water sources and sewerage service organized in the frame of summit. The stands of Azersu OJSC were demonstrated at the exhibition that more than 40 countries participated.

   The guests were informed about the activity of the Stock Company, the water and sewerage projects carried out, new technology systems and experience of Azersu OJSC. At the same time a video clip about capital construction and reconstruction works realized by Azersu OJSC was demonstrative.

  At the exhibition the delegation of Azersu OJSC met with the delegations of UNESCO, International Hydrological Program, the World Water Council, Global Water, Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS), International Water Resources Association, International Association of Hydrogeologists and other scientists from various universities and leaders of international organizations.

   In general, the Budapest Water Summit was very effective fin terms of discussion of global problems and future cooperation. Mr Ban Ki-moon, Secretary General of the United Nations, Mr János Áder, President of Hungary, Ms Irina Bokova, Director General of UNESCO, as well as the delegations of OSCE, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, World Bank, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO),World Water Council, World Health Organization, World Meteorological Organization and other delegation from prestigious companies attended the summit.

   Speaking at the summit, UN Secretary-General, Mr. Ban Ki-moon touched global problems due to the shortage of drinking water in the world, and talked about the ways of their solution.

  The participants talked about the actuality of drinking water supply problems and noted the importance of cooperation in this field.

   Then the summit has continued on science, civil society, business, the place.
