Application of international financial reporting standards was highly appreciated

“Azersu” OJSC got a success in application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Baku hosted the IV Eurasian Forum of Accountants and Auditors on the theme "Internal Control & Risk Management". The forum praised the achievements of Azərsu in the transition to international financial reporting standards.

Taking part at the forum deputy chairman of “Azersu” OJSC Mahir Memmedov informed the guests about organization of internal control and risk management mechanism in Stock Company.

The participators also highly evaluated the achievements of the Company. “Azersu” OJSC became the winner in nomination “The Best Manager of the Year", established by the Association of Professional Financial Managers (APFM).

Note that “Azersu” OJSC received the highest award for carrying out transition to International Finance Reporting Standards successfully and taking active part in staff trainings at international conference on Accountant and finance managers was held in London by Institute of Certified Financial Managers (ICFM) on 05-09 November 2012.
