Garatorpag village of Shaki was supplied with drinking water from new source

   “Azersu” OJSC continues improvement projects in the villages suffering from shortage of drinking water. One of these projects is carried out in Garatorpag and Bolludere villages of Shaki. At the first phase of the project construction of transmission main was completed and Garatorpag village has been provided with drinking water.

    At the ceremony held on this occasion head of Executive power of Shaki region Elkhan Usubov said that providing drinking water to the village for the first time is a great achievement. He also highly evaluated the works carried out by “Azersu” OJSC.

    Deputy Chairman of “Azersu” OJSC Kocharli Hasanov stated that improvement of water supply systems of the villages suffering from shortage of drinking water is in the center of attention.

    The residents participating at the ceremony thanked the staff of “Azersu” OJSC due to solution of their drinking water problem.

    The project is designed for development of drinking water supply of 2200 people in Garatorpag and Bolludere villages. Water reservoir in Soyudlu village of Oguz district was chosen as water source of these villages. At the first phase a transmission main of 11km was laid. A spring was constructed. At the next phase a transmission main of 7km will be laid to Bolludere village using polyethylene pipes.
