Inauguration ceremony of drinking water was held in Saribulag village of Balaken district

    “Azersu” OJSC pays special attention to improvement of drinking water supply of rural and settlements suffering from shortage of drinking water. Under Action Plan new drinking water projects are carried out in such areas.

   On May 4 inauguration ceremony of drinking water supply of Saribulag village of Balaken district was held. Taking part at the ceremony head of Balaken Executive Power Islam Rzayev said that the project plays great role in improvement of socio-economic life of the district and highly evaluated the works reconstruction projects of drinking water supply and sewerage projects realized by “Azersu” OJSC.

   Head of “United Sukanal” LLC of “Azersu” OJSC Etibar Memmedov stated that water supply and sanitation infrastructures in regions, as well as in urban, rayon centers, villages and settlements are reconstructed under “State Program on socioeconomic development of districts of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2009-2013”.

   The villagers thanked to the Presidents and “Azersu” OJSC for solving their water problems.

   Construction project of drinking water supply of Saribulag village will improve drinking water supply systems of more over 2400 people. The project includes drilling of 2Nos artesian. One of them was put into operation, the other one will be put into operation in the near future. From these artesian wells a transmission main of 700m was laid with polyethylene pipes (110mm).

   Note that there was no drinking water supply system in Balaken so far.
