A meeting was held in “Azersu” OJSC with the delegations of Japan International Cooperation Agency.

    On March 18 a meeting was held in “Azersu” OJSC with the delegation of Japan International Cooperation Agency led by Ms. Kae Yanagisawa, Director General, East and Central Asia and Caucasus Department under “Provincial Cities Water supply and Sewerage projects” financed by the Government of Republic of Azerbaijan and Japan International Cooperation Agency. At the meeting financial issues were discussed.

    The chairman of “Azersu” OJSC Gorkhmaz Huseynov highly evaluated the participation of Japan International Cooperation Agency in implementation of reconstruction projects of water supply and sewerage systems. He also noted that recently reconstruction works has launched in other city-Naftalan under “Provincial Cities Water supply and Sewerage projects”.

    Expressing her satisfaction in cooperation with the Government of Azerbaijan director of Eastern and Central Asian and Caucasus department of Japan International Cooperation Agency Ms. Kae Yanagisawa stated that the organization represents will support to the reconstruction projects of water supply and sewerage systems in the future too.

    Note that, “Provincial Cities Water Supply and Sewerage Project” that financed by the Government of Azerbaijan and Japan International Cooperation Agency is aimed at reconstruct water supply and sewerage systems in 7 towns and district centers (Khachmaz, Yevlakh, Naftalan, Khizi, Gusar, Barda and Gobustan). Reconstruction projects are carried out in Gusar, Khachmaz and Khizi. After some months reconstruction project will be started in Gobustan.
