Water supply system of Tap Garagoyunlu villag of Goranboy on the frontline will be improved

   Under “State Program on Socioeconomic Development of the regions of Republic of Azerbaijan for 2009-2013” water supply projects are carried out in the centers of the districts and surrounding villages, as well as in villages on the frontline suffering from water. In accordance with Urgent Action Plan approved by “Azersu” OJSC a new project launched in Tap Garagoyunlu village of Goranboy on the frontline in order once and for all solution of water problems.

   On March 6 chairman of “Azersu” OJSC Gorkhmaz Huseynov visited Tap Garagoyunlu village of Goranboy district and met with residents. Here issues on works will be done were discussed. Recalling that president of the state pays special attention to socioeconomic development of the regions on the frontline chairman of “Azersu” OJSC stated that Tap Garagoyunlu village will be supplied with clear and high quality drinking water: “A new water line of 20km will be laid from Baliggaya-Goranboy transmission main for solution of water problem in Tap Garagoyunlu village. Reservoir compound will be constructed, distributional lines will be laid for supplying the village on a continuing basis with drinking water and every house will be connected to the network. Our goal is to complete these works in short time and to supply the village with drinking water as off summer.”

  The head of Goranboy region Executive power Nizameddin Guliyev noted that supplying Tap Garagoyunlu village with natural gas and electricity, as well as with drinking water will improve utility services in the village. He thanked to the head of the state.

    2800 people live in Tap Garagoyunlu village which is located on the frontline, on the border with Talish village of Agdam region that was occupied by Armenian army. The residents use water of aryk separated from Inje River that is under the control of Armenian army.

   Note that drinking water projects were carried out in the frontline villages of Agdam, Fuzuli, Agjabadi and Tartar and 6 thousand people were supplied with drinking water.
