A fact of illegal drinking water use was revealed in Khatai district

    “Azersu” OJSC continues supervisory measures on accurate accounting of water and eliminating the cases of illegal use of water. Recently although control measures in this field intensified, unfortunately some subscribers still use water illegally, without any contract.

    As a result of control measures carried out by the employees of “Azersu” OJSC a fact of illegal drinking water use was revealed in “ALKO LTD - AZER SPIRT” LLC, a company produces alcoholic drinks in  Khatai district, Zig highway. During inspection it was revealed that the object was supplied with drinking water by pipeline (DN=150mm) illegally. Water supply was suspended by the employees of “Azersu” OJSC. As a result of illegally using of drinking water the damage caused to “Azersu” OJSC was estimated and “ALKO LTD - AZER SPIRT” LLC fined in amount of AZN 195436 80 kopecks.

   In general, in 2013 as results of control measures carried out by the employees of “Azersu” OJSC 178 facts on illegal use of drinking water and sewerage systems were revealed in Baku and its surrounding areas, the damage was evaluated and the customers were fined in a total amount of AZN 473 000.

   “Azersu” OJSC draws attention of subscriber not to use drinking water illegally. For revealing such cases control measures will be continued and subscribers that use drinking water illegally will be fined and their water supply system will be suspended unconditional.
