Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency "Azersu" Open Joint Stock Company has strengthened control measures to collect receivables for drinking water supply and waste water discharge services. According to the "Rules for Water Supply" approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, subscribers are notified about the amount they have to pay every month according to the amount of water supplied and waste water discharged. The notices warn that the debt must be paid in full within 1 month, and at the same time, they are informed that water supply by the water supply company will be stopped if the cost of drinking water supply and waste water discharge services is not paid in time and in full.

Despite the implementation of enlightening and promotional activities and administrative measures to attract subscribers who have debts to pay, some subscribers do not pay their service fees on time and in full. If the subscriber delays payment or refuses to pay at all, water supply to the consumer is stopped according to the requirements of the law. Interruption of water supply is carried out by emergency crews, which causes additional costs and loss of time. At the same time, the involvement of emergency brigades in this work extends the time of elimination of accidents occurring on transmission mains and network lines. As a result, residents living in other areas are deprived of receiving water for a certain period of time.

Taking all this into account, we once again bring to the attention of subscribers to pay their service fees on time. If the one-time payment of the debts is beyond the financial opportunities of the subscriber, then conditions are created for partial payment of the debts.

For this purpose, subscribers approach the local water administration offices of "Azersu" OJSC, present their ID card and subscriber code, pay a certain part of the debt and sign an agreement protocol. After signing the protocol, the monthly payment schedule of the debt is presented to the subscriber, and the subscriber's water supply is not stopped at this time.

We bring to the attention of subscribers that the level of services provided directly depends on their payments. With this in mind, we ask you to pay the debts for drinking water supply and waste water discharge services on time.
