The demand for drinking water has increased due to the severe heat observed in the country in recent days. In order to meet the growing demand, Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency "Azersu" Open Joint Stock Company is taking all necessary measures to provide consumers with stable drinking water in Baku city and Absheron peninsula, as well as in the regions. Due to the high temperature of the air, the volume of water transferred from the sources has been increased. At the same time, the collection of reservoir resources and the adjustment of networks are carried out.
According to hydrometerological forecasts, consumers are requested to use drinking water as sparingly as possible and not to waste water.
