The supply of drinking water to multi-apartment buildings with debts in Yasamal district has been stopped

Measures are being continued to establish accounts for drinking water supply and waste water discharge services in newly built multi-apartment residential buildings, and to eliminate the problem of receivables. During the control measures carried out by "Azersu" OJSC in Yasamal district, the water supply of buildings that have not paid their receivables for a long time was stopped.

Gaps in the payment of debts for drinking water supply and waste water discharge services in newly built multi-apartment residential buildings in Yasamal district, as well as in the coding of apartments, were discovered. Currently, the residents of the building consisting of 120 apartments have a total of 7095 manat receivables. Residents report that they have previously paid service fees for drinking water supply and waste water to the housing construction cooperative.

In a five-story apartment building on Umid Akbarov Street, Yasamal district, a case of unauthorized use of water was discovered. Although the object used to have an entrance meter, it later became faulty, and the owner did not take measures to install a new meter.

The supply of drinking water to the buildings with receivables and using water without accounting has been stopped. It should be noted that since some new multi-apartment residential buildings have not been put into operation, it is not possible to code the apartments in those buildings. In such a case, those buildings are registered as a subscriber and consumption is carried out with a balance meter installed at the entrance of the building. The supply of water and payment issues in apartments are regulated between housing construction cooperatives and shareholders. "Azersu" OJSC appeals to the housing construction cooperatives to ensure coding of apartments and installation of meters, as well as payment of accumulated receivables. If it is not possible to pay the receivables in one go, it is possible to pay them in installments based on the agreement protocol. If the receivables are not paid, the water supply to the buildings will be stopped.
