Employees of the Absheron Sukanal Office were injured by subscribers

Despite the awareness and propaganda work carried out by “Azersu” OJSC to attract subscribers to payment of the debts, some subscribers who evade payment are rude to the employees of “Azersu” OJSC, who perform their official duties and subject them to physical pressure. This time, the employees of the Absheron Sukanal Office were subjected to the rude treatment and physical pressure by the subscribers. A subscriber who live Kurtulush residential area, house 6 b, apartment 10 in Masazir settlement, Absheron district owes 170 AZN for the drinking water supply services. Despite repeated warnings to repay the accumulated debt, the subscriber refused to pay the debt. In accordance with the requirements of the "Rules of Water Use", an order was issued to suspend water supply. Employees of the Absheron Sukanal Office approached the address and said that the water supply would be suspended due to non-payment of the debt. At that time, a person named Alakbar Alakbarov, a resident of the same apartment, attacked Vafadar Guliyev, an employee of the Absheron Sukanal Office and stabbed him. Physical pressure on another employee of “Azersu” OJSC was committed by Muzaffar Mahmudov, a resident of Nubar settlement of Absheron region. Although the subscriber, who owed 210 AZN, was repeatedly warned, he ignored it and refused to pay. Next time, employees of the Absheron Sukanal Office visited the same address again. When Elbrus Allahverdiyev, an employee of the department, said that it was important to pay the subscriber's debt, the employee was suddenly hit by Muzaffar Mahmudov. Allahverdiyev, who was hit in the head, his tooth was broken down and he was seriously injured. As a result of the incidents, the victims were provided with medical assistance and sent for medical examination. The Absheron District Police Office was contacted to investigate both facts. “Azersu” OJSC informs citizens and subscribers that the level of service provided depends on timely payments. For this purpose, any insults and pressure against employees performing their duties are unacceptable, and if such cases occur, “Azersu” OJSC will apply to law enforcement agencies. It is brought to the subscribers’ attention that payment of receivables in installments is also available. To do this, the subscriber must apply to the local water supply office or branch, sign a protocol of agreement and pay the debt in installments on a monthly basis in accordance with the commitment.
