A service area of “Azersu” OJSC has been established in Zangilan region

In accordance with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev’s instructions, “Azersu” OJSC continues to restore water supply systems and organize services in the liberated territories. According to the Coordination Headquarters established for the centralized settlement of issues in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a service area of “Azersu” OJSC has been established in another liberated city –Zangilan after Shusha, Kalbajar and Hadrut settlement.

The service area serves Zangilan and Gubadli regions, as well as some villages of Lachin. In order to improve the working conditions of employees and improve the quality of service, one of the useless buildings in the city of Zangilan was repaired and put into operation as an office building. In order to ensure the efficiency of the work, the service area is provided with special vehicles.

In the past period, “Azersu” OJSC has taken urgent measures to supply water to the city and water supply to military and civilian facilities in Zangilan district. The water supply system of the military units located in the city and some villages, as well as at the border checkpoints was investigated, and the damaged parts of the existing main and network water lines were repaired. New lines have been laid to supply water to facilities that are not supplied with water, and hydrophore type pumps have been installed where necessary. As a result of the work done, 34 residential and non-residential facilities in Zangilan city and villages were provided with drinking water.

In the past, the existing water supply system of Gubadli was investigated, the destroyed parts of the main and network lines were restored. 1 water reservoir, 2 water intake facilities and 10 km of water lines of different diameters were restored in the city. At present, 70 residential and non-residential facilities in Gubadli are provided with drinking water.

It should be noted that, “Azersu” OJSC organized uninterrupted service in Zangilan and Gubadli regions, Shusha city, Kalbajar and Lachin regions, as well as in Hadrut, Talysh and Sugovushan settlements.
