Trainings on welding of polyethylene pipes were held at the Training and Innovation Center

To increase the professional level of employees working in the drinking water sector, “Azersu” OJSC has started the next trainings. Trainings on welding of polyethylene pipes are carried out to ensure the normal operation of main and network water lines, as well as to prevent future accidents. 248 masters and locksmiths of “Azersu” OJSC offices from Baku and regions were involved in the trainings.

The trainings are conducted in two directions, theoretically and practically. Masters and locksmiths with theoretical knowledge have the opportunity to get acquainted with the work processes at the experimental landfill established at the Training and Innovation Center. The subtleties of the welding process of polyethylene pipes were visually taught at the landfill. The knowledge and experience gained here will allow the employees to perform work in a timely, efficient and highly professional manner.

“Azersu” OJSC has the opportunity to conduct simultaneous trainings to improve professionalism of employees for 350 people at the Training and Innovation Center established at the Hovsan Aeration Station. There are cabinets for mechanics, power engineering, automation and metrology, computers, geographic information systems, SCADA, control and measuring devices. Good conditions had also been created there for the trainees come from the regions to spend the night and organize their leisure time.
