An intensified working regime has been applied in connection with the matches of the European Football Championship held in Baku
“Azersu” OJSC has started operating in an intensified mode in connection with the 4 matches of the 16th European Football Championship to be held in Baku. In this regard, a duty of responsible persons was organized in the offices of the Company and territorial water supply departments. Specialized emergency brigades have been set up to deal with problems and accidents, and they have been provided with special machinery and equipment.
In preparation for the competition, the sources of drinking water supply to Baku, transmission mains, central and local reservoirs, water and sewage pumping stations were analyzed, the identified shortcomings were eliminated and the kind of affairs are in progress. At the same time, the water supply and sewerage systems of the facilities where athletes and guests are located, as well as sports facilities were inspected, and the necessary measures were taken to ensure a sustainable supply of drinking water to these facilities.
